Our last work on protein adsorption on plastic materials has just been accepted.. great achievement by the NaTom group.
My personnal contribution for this paper is mainly the proteomic data analysis. I have also performed some (intensive) monte-carlo simulations to show the specificity of the proteins adsorption on surfaces. This part involves intensive computations, requiring large amount of cpus and memory. It was interesting to get back to HPC, to design optimal workload balancing algorithms, fun computer science stuff... Finally, I also conducted some statistical analysis to please some reviewers 😉
